Economical Purchasing Option

If your school or institution is typical, doing more with less is the norm. That’s why LANDesk developed the LANDesk® Academic License Program. This simple subscription-licensing program lowers your upfront and total costs to allow you to acquire the tools you need to manage and secure all your desktops, servers and mobile devices.

The program bases your annual payment on full-time equivalent (FTE) enrollments. So you can count students and administrators instead of counting machines and make it easy to purchase just the licenses you need. You get the right to use licensed software throughout your entire organization during your contract term. And at the end of your term, you can easily transfer your subscription licenses to perpetual licenses or renew your contract.

Simplified Budgeting and Administration

The LANDesk® Academic License Program bases your annual licensing fee on total school enrollment and allows you to use as many licenses as necessary to meet the needs of your organization. You count and calculate just once a year. After paying your annual fee, licensing administration is done for the year.

Increased Flexibility

The LANDesk® Academic License Program gives you with the flexibility to support new initiatives by adding new servers. Simply purchase additional media through your regular LANDesk reseller for nominal charges.
