LANDesk® Security Suite System Requirements and Platform Support

Core Server Requirements

The core server should be dedicated to hosting LANDesk® management products, and must not function as a domain controller or Active Directory controller.

If you are also running LANDesk® Management Suite, install LANDesk® Security Suite core services on the LANDesk Management Suite core server.

  • Supported Windows server OS using NTFS (see below for detail)
  • Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.8
  • Microsoft .NET Framework version 1.1 or newer, or ASP .NET 1.1 or newer
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x, SP1
  • Access to supported database (see below for detail)
  • Access to supported Web server (see below for details)
  • Static IP address
  • Internet access (for activation and access to LANDesk® threat database)
